Happy New Years Eve!

We brought in the new year at our house playing Mario Maker and trying to keep the boys awake. They both made it until midnight and we watched the firworks go off at the Space needle. Happy fun times, everybody!

Ruth got this cool wooden box for Christmas with special holes for embroidering through. This is supposed to be a unicorn.

Magnus wanted to get into some of his toys this morning before we were awake. I think a sleepy momma may have given permission for him to use the scissors to open his box. He did succeed in getting out the toys without injuring himself. So that was good.

Happy Christmas Eve!

We went hiking this morning before showing up at Ivan and Terry’s home in Salem. We had a good time and I think we’ll be doing this again next year perhaps. Here we are in front of Majestic Falls.

We decorated edible structures tonight. Magnus ended up with a house and a garage. Gideon just wanted to eat M&Ms. How did Magnus get so old?

Anton got Ruth a Star Wars crochet kit for her birthday. This was the first attempt. We will call him Mishapen Trooper.

The elves brought us some glo pens in our shoes a few days ago and we broke them tonight and drew with them.  Good times had by all!

Terry is getting a new store ready to open in downtown Vancouver. We have been helping her build shelves and haul grabage and put things on high places.

Ruth has to go to mutual tonight so offical festivities will come later. But her visiting teacher brought her this funny snowman cupcake, so we still got to sing and eat cake tonight.
