Will and Courtney came to visit! We went to the zoo today. We saw a lot of animals and people. Whitney and Magnus enjoyed petting the little goats.

Magnus has never been a fan of his crib. We realized the other day that he was at the limits of the cribs height and weight limit. So we looked into getting him a toddler bed. We’re starting with the mattress on the floor for now. We found him like this the other night. So far the bed is a hit.

We made grape juice from some grapes growing in Ivan’s yard. It is quite thick and good. Magnus is a fan.

Our secret blackberry patch. Whenever we stop by Ivan’s office Magnus likes to check on the blackberry patch and eat a few tasty berries.

We are trying to get a bedtime routine established for Magnus. After his bath and getting on jammies, he goes around the apartment with Dana and says, “night nights.” He has to say “night night” to this moth and the beetles.

Our bounty from the Farmer’s Market today: peaches, honey crisp apples, raw honey, huckleberries, purple and red peppers, “black sun” blackberries, and a “chicken of the forest” mushrooms. The peppers were particularly good.
