“I’m going on an adventure!”
Gideon is better at walking now, so he gets antsy being stuck inside. So when it’s not actively raining, sometimes we play outside. We did that today, and Gideon took off like a shot for the parking lot, where he did not stop, but continued running towards the street.
He fell down a few times and got his pants quite wet, so we went inside. It was nice while it lasted.

Magnus made this letter “A” all by himself! We’ve been trying out some letters made with Q-tips. Incidentally, “Qs” are remarkably hard to make with Q-tips.

We went through our pantry and found some canned goods that were on their way out. We had some cans of pumpkin. So I tried making a pumpkin pie; I’ve never made one before. It was tasty!

Will came to The Dalles for a few days, so we snuck out to visit him. We stopped at Rock Fort and then went to dinner at Spooky’s. Thanks for the fun times, Will! (And for dinner!)

Happy Columbus Day!
Gideon is into deconstruction right now. While going though our things we found this pile of magazines we were going to get rid of. We stacked it up on the footstool so he could throw them all on the floor. Which did happily. And then he tried to restack them so he could throw them on the floor again.

The youth in our ward walked to the temple today. We were in charge of one of the aid stations along the way. This leg of the walk, each of the kids took turns carrying that giant rock. Magnus was happy to welcome them in.

The last of the big farm by Farmor’s house is being developed into houses. So now there are roads where fields used to be. My mom drove on them and noticed this old barn way in the back she had not seen. She loves seeing old barns and asked if I could get a picture of it.

When Gideon is not getting what he wants he will usually crumple to the floor and put his face between his feet, crying loudly. It is a bit funny to watch.
