Magnus wears his vest as a hat. He must have enjoyed it, because when we showed him this picture he wanted to do it again.

For Valentines Day, Ivan and Terry put together a nice gift basket for all of us. But Magnus got the best present. It’s a butterfly in a jar and when you tap the glass the butterfly flies around. George Michael likes to watch it.

Happy Valentines Day!

Don’t worry, it’s not our car, but that is our parking lot. Early this morning (around 2 am) a drunk driver crashed his car into the cherry tree on the edge of our parking lot. Miraculously no one was hurt, but the tree (and the car) are done for. Dana heard the sirens and went out to see what happened. After the tow truck moved the car (the driver had wiggled out already), Dana convinced him to tip the tree the other way so we could get out of the driveway. Thanks, tow-truck man!

Dana had to test some Nintendo 64 games tonight to make sure they worked. Magnus helped too.

Happy early Valentines day to us! Dana and I went out for our Valentines date tonight while Elina and Else watched Magnus. We also exchanged gifts today because we like giving present so much we can’t wait to give them to the other person. Dana got me some nice jewelry from a local rock shop and I got Dana the Lego Rancor pit. The Rancor wishes you all a happy night!

We had some friends in the ward over for dinner tonight and they came bearing gifts! They had offered us this rocking horse months before, but we had never gotten the hand-off completed. So they brought it tonight. Magnus warmed up to it right away. He insisted he needed the Viking helmet on to ride and now he doesn’t ride without it.

Magnus is a break-dancer. But we already knew that. Here he is showing off his moves.

Tonight Magnus decided to start singing, “ E I E I O,” that line from “Old McDonald had a farm.” In Magnus fashion, he does not let us stop singing the song. So we have had to expand Old McDonald’s world. Now he has a house and a zoo with all kinds of noisy inhabitants.

Calli brought her dogs over to Farmor’s house while we ladies went to “Super Saturday.” Magnus loves to run around with the dogs and they love to smell him and chase things that he throws.
