Today, we went to an orientation class at the hospital we will be using. Every little thing (or in this case, a giant thing like a hospital) seems to make it a bit more real.
The hospital tour was useful; the class was mostly just filling out a series of forms. The hospital is very nice and fairly new, so that's nice. It's about 15 minutes up the freeway from our house; near enough, I hope.
