Our first day took us to Little Crater Lake and two units of John Day Fossil Beds NM. Each place was amazing. We really enjoyed the Painted Hills Unit. The colors of the landscape were incredible. We also dug for fossils in Fossil, OR and found some good ones. Then we camped in Ochoco Divide campground.
