Day 2 we visited the Sheep Rock Unit of John Day Fossil Beds NM. They have a wonderful fossil museum at the visitor center, with lots of plant and animal fossils, including some cool prehistoric mammals. This photo is from our hike in Blue Basin, where many fossils have been found. Magnus enjoyed hiking and was mostly good at it. For dinner we met up with Ruth’s brother Will, and his family in Umatilla, OR. It was a great day.
