Day 10: In Salt Lake City we had a chance to go to the observation deck of the Church Office Building.The view was very clear. Ruth and Magnus had never been up there before. It wasn’t busy, so the tour guide let us look out a south facing window, not usually open to the public. The guide also recommended we visit the South Visitor Center where they have this miniature of the temple with the wall cut away. Every detail of the inside has been carefully recreated (including the pictures on the wall, furniture, and even the gold leaf), so visitors can see what the inside looks like. It was neat.
We also got the chance to see some of our friends (and their kids) who still live in Utah. It was a busy day.
