Day 8: We made it to Dinosaur National Monument and hiked to Harper’s Corner. This is where the Green and Yampa Rivers meet and they cut a pretty canyon in the rock. We found fossils and interesting things in the rocks. The view was pretty cool; we could see rafters on the river below.
We stayed the night in Vernal and got a chance to see the temple. I was impressed by Vernal’s human to dinosaur statue ratio (although there were no dinosaur statues at the temple).
