Day 5: We had a busy day. We began by visiting the Florissant Fossil Beds (our second fossil themed stop). This place is famous for its insect and plant fossils, including petrified Redwood trees. We hiked around there a bit and then found a place outside the monument that let you find your own fossils. Here we are trying to uncover some ancient treasures. We then visited a Insect Museum that also had a Space Museum we could see.
